Grand Central Oyster Bar: A Century of Seafood Excellence

For seafood lovers, the Grand Central Oyster Bar is the ultimate destination. With a legacy spanning nearly a hundred years, we have dedicated ourselves to perfecting the art of preparing seafood dishes that will delight your palate. From the market to your plate, we ensure that every seafood experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Each morning, our chef embarks on a journey to the New Fulton Fish Market, hand-selecting the freshest catch of the day. From succulent lobsters to a diverse array of fish, our commitment to flavor and freshness is unwavering. We take pride in sourcing the finest seafood for our patrons.

While we offer a wide variety of seafood, it's our oysters that have earned us the most acclaim. You can choose from over 30 different oyster varieties on any given day. Enjoy them in their purest form or savor them as part of a delectable po' boy sandwich. The choice is yours, and we aim to please every palate.

Pair your seafood with the perfect wine from our extensive list, boasting over 400 wines available by the glass or bottle. To make it even better, 55 of our wine selections are priced under $38, ensuring accessibility for all. We love sharing the joy of great seafood and keeping our prices within reach.

Join us during our Happy Hours (check the menu on our website), where you and your friends can relish fresh food and drinks at prices that are simply unbeatable. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the flavors of the sea without breaking the bank.

At Grand Central Oyster Bar, we offer an abundance of seating with over 450 tables across two dining rooms. For a more traditional experience, you can unwind in our saloon, which features a bustling bar scene. Alternatively, you can choose to sit at Oyster Bay, where you can witness the art of oyster shucking right before your eyes.

The Grand Central Oyster Bar isn't just a restaurant; it's a social experience rich with history, activity, and an atmosphere like no other. Come and be a part of our vibrant and bustling seafood tradition. There's truly no place quite like it!

Nice place! They have everything seafood there. Watching the guy create (insert your favorite shellfish or fish here) bisque was both fascinating and entertaining! We got a dozen oysters on the half shell which were juicy and delicious. This place is definitely a destination site. If you are visiting NYC and love seafood, it's a mandatory must do! And while you're there, check out the famous constellations on the ceiling!
